LOVE NOTES
"Hiring Grace as our postpartum doula was hands down the best decision we made our entire pregnancy. We knew instantly that she was the perfect fit, and she exceeded our expectations a thousand times over. Grace went above and beyond for us and felt like family immediately. She came to my midwife appointments, shared incredibly well thought-out postpartum resources she had written herself, and held space for all our questions, fears, and needs at each of our prenatal visits - all of this set us up for a restful, supported and intentional postpartum. During the actual postpartum period, Grace was a gentle, loving and listening ear, normalizing what we were moving through each time we saw her. A huge bonus: her food is out-of-this-world amazing, cooked with the freshest ingredients and a heart of love. Another huge bonus: all of her training in lactation! She helped my son latch on the first morning after his birth when he hadn't fed after birth or the first night home from the birth center. Having someone so knowledgeable in lactation in my home the day after this birth was such a gamechanger because those first few days are so key in establishing breastfeeding - she is a large part of why I'm still breastfeeding six months later! More importantly than all of Grace's skills, though, is just what a loving, intentional, warm, and kind person she is. Having someone in your home during this vulnerable time full of unknowns can feel scary, and Grace made us feel comfortable and at home with her from day one. I could go on about her for days! I can't say enough how wonderful she is. I seriously don't know what we would have done without her."

"Having Grace as our doula throughout the first six weeks postpartum was essential to our wellbeing in the early newborn days. She brought a calm presence to our home, created space for us to process, and provided us with nourishing food that helped with recovery, increase energy levels, and sparked joy. Her food is incredible — it's a warm hug in the form of nourishment. Grace's gentle, evidence-based guidance helped us navigate the unknowns of first time parenthood from a place of empowerment. We would absolutely be honored to have Grace care for our family again in the future!

"Grace was our postpartum doula and IBCLC for the first forty days with our daughter. A year later, when people ask my husband what surprised him most, he often says how important Grace's support was. She mothered us and guided us as fresh new parents, increasing both of our confidence in caring for our newborn. She started us off on such a resourced note. I healed quickly, felt great, and never had to worry that I was doing something "wrong."
Grace was wonderful, knowledgeable, and incredibly supportive through mastitis and a breast abscess. I was so grateful to have a real human to text instead of falling into an internet spiral about complicated human body things. I genuinely loved having her in our home. She was easy to be around, with the kind of calm nervous system that kept the vibes just right. She also made the most MAGICAL healing food. It was such an incredible, peaceful time being cooked for and cared for.
Our check-ins helped me mark time in a way I didn't expect, and she was an amazing communicator with us and our parents. Our daughter still absolutely adores her. We feel so lucky that Grace was part of the beginning of our life as a family."

"We feel incredibly grateful to have found Grace to support us during the postpartum period. Those early days are tender, overwhelming, and unpredictable—and it can be hard to know what kind of help you'll actually need. Grace intuitively understood how to make us feel both nourished and at ease. She brings a beautiful balance of expertise and open-hearted presence, always listening closely and attuning to the unique needs of each family. She even ended up being a doula for the new grandma in the house!
I wholeheartedly recommend Grace to anyone navigating the early postpartum experience. You may not realize just how valuable this kind of support is until you're in the thick of it—so investing proactively is a true gift to yourself and your growing family. We'll always cherish Grace's presence in those early days of our baby's life, and we hope she'll be there to celebrate the first birthday (or sooner!)."

"We truly can’t say enough positive things about our experience with Grace as a postpartum doula. From the moment she entered our home, she was reassuring, encouraging, and incredibly motivating. As first-time parents, we were overwhelmed by the sheer range of responsibilities that come with caring for a newborn, but her calm and knowledgeable presence gave us the confidence we needed to believe in ourselves.
Thanks to her support, we not only felt more equipped to manage the day-to-day tasks but also learned best practices that we continue to rely on to ensure our baby’s healthy development. It was a huge comfort to know that our family members had used her services before and had nothing but glowing recommendations which we understand why now!
Her empathy and ability to truly listen made such a difference during those difficult, sleep-deprived days. She made us feel heard, validated, and reassured that what we were experiencing was normal and that we were doing just fine. Her patience and calm teaching style created a safe and supportive environment where we could comfortably ask questions and learn without pressure.
We are beyond grateful for the knowledge, compassion, and peace of mind she brought into our lives during such a vulnerable time. Without a doubt, we would highly recommend her to any new family seeking not just help, but true partnership in their parenting journey."

"If you have been searching for a doula and not sure where to start, stop right here because you have found her! As a first-time mom, Grace provided our family with the support and guidance we needed during those unpredictable (and exhausting!) first few weeks of our newborn's life, and we couldn't be more grateful. Her name says it all! Grace filled our home with helpful insight, knowledge, and nutritious meals, so as a mom, I felt nurtured in every way. I can't recommend her enough to help shine light and navigate the vulnerable and exciting transition into parenthood. Let Grace take care of you and your family so you may take care of your precious baby!"

"As a first time mom, I was looking for guidance with a newborn and wanted to prioritize my recovery through nutrition. I believe my recovery went so well was because of the foods Grace made. She was also always there to talk to about emotions and helped answer questions about the baby. Grace had a calming demeanor which is something I knew I would need. I liked how she used the Ayurvedic approach to healing the body after birth. I loved it all and I want a cookbook!"

"We hired Grace to come to our home 2 days a week for 6 weeks. She brought the most calming energy and made the most delicious food. I don't know what my husband and I would have done without her. She entertained my toddler with help in the kitchen while I was able to give attention to my newborn. She also assisted around the house, changed my baby's diapers, and always cleaned up the kitchen after use. The food that she made was the highlight for us each week. We enjoyed being surprised by what she would make because it was delicious every time. When I had my first child, I wish I would have known Grace and her company. It would have helped me heal quicker, feel nourished during my postpartum process, and overall have a sense of calm during the wild transition into motherhood. Hire her! She will make your journey into parenthood as smooth as can be and will nourish your belly and your body in the process."

"Grace was phenomenal. We contacted her in a bit of new parent panic when our one-month-old wasn't sleeping, and we were absolutely exhausted. I said I just needed "someone to hold the baby," but we got so much more. She educated us on baby sleep, troubleshot how to help him nap, and gave me time back to (try to) catch up on sleep, eat without holding a baby, and even sneak in some postpartum yoga. She added sanity to an absolutely insane time, and for that, I will always be grateful."
