FAQs

How early into pregnancy should I book your services?

1

The sooner, the better. There's no such thing as too soon. Whether you're booking lactation or postpartum care, the earlier we start, the more time we have to prepare you for the season ahead. Getting your care team in place before birth is a beautiful gift to give yourself, and it gives mus more time to lay a strong foundation before baby arrives.

Logistically, I reserve my calendar based on package tier, so booking early ensure I am available and my calendar is held for your due date.

Do you accept insurance?

2

I'm in-network with many PPO insurance plans, which can cover a large portion of my lactation services. If I'm not in-network with your plan, I'm happy to provide a superbill you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement after our visits.

If you have Cigna PPO, you can verify your coverage here.

If you have Aetna PPO, UnitedHealthcare or Blue Shield of California PPO, you can verify your coverage here.

Can I customize a package depending on what works best for my family?

3

Each package is designed to offer comprehensive, well-rounded care. If you have specific needs, a particular vision, or a budget in mind, reach out and let's talk. I'm happy to tailor the structure so it best aligns with what works for your family.

Do you work overnight doula shifts?

4

I only offer day shifts for my postpartum services, but I'm happy to make referrals to trusted overnight support.
